New Beginnings Sunday School class
Led by Sheila Feltis & Rob Harris. We strive to guide adult believers of all spiritual levels toward a practical knowledge of biblical truth and application in an atmosphere of encouragement and acceptance. “Our purpose is to grow in our inward journey and reach others through our outward journey.”
Women’s Sunday Night Bible Study
This is a 6 week study led by Anna Wheeling that will meet at 6pm at the church. This Study is called “Discerning The Voice of God” by Priscilla Shirer. If you are interested in a closer walk with God and have trouble discerning the ways that He speaks to you, this study is for you! Please let Anna know if you would like to attend. The study books cost $11 and are available now.
Women’s Monday Morning Bible Study
Led by Chris Ludington at her home on Monday Mornings at 9:30am. This study is on “True Woman 101–Divine Design” by Nancy Leigh Demoss. Books are $11.99 and must be paid ahead of time of the study. Men’s Monday Night Bible Study
Led by Rob Harris at Mill Mountain Coffee Shop on every other Monday Night at 7:00pm. This study is on “The Resolution” based on the Courageous Movie. Contact Rob Harris at 3harris@ntelos.net if you would like to join this study.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Dianne Wright will be teaching a new study on the “Survey of the Old Testament”. Text will be the Bible and handouts. No study books will be needed. Contact the church office if you would like to join this study.
Women’s Thursday Night Bible Study
Led by Connie Anderson at her home on Thursday night at 6:30pm. This study is on “Becoming A Woman Who Loves” by Cynthia Heald. This is a topical bible study that explores the incredible nature of Christ-like love. Discover how to be sure such beautiful love resides deep within your soul and how to let it flow more freely to others as you become more like Jesus. Friday Morning Bible Study
Pastor Kevin Wirt has started a new Bible Study on Friday mornings at 7am. This study is entitled, “Loving God and Others: The Heart of True Faith” by Kay Arthur & David & BJ Lawson. The group will meet at Pastor Kevin’s Home for Bible Study and Breakfast. Please R.S.V.P. to Kevin by 6pm on Thurs. evening if you will be attending. This small group study is for people who are interested in learning for themselves more about what the Bible say on various subjects, but who have only limited time to meet together.” This will be a 10-week–no homework Bible study. Women’s Ministry
This exciting ministry hosts several events in our church such as the Mother-Daughter Banquet and a Father’s Day Picnic. This ministry also encourages our church ladies to attend the Extraordinary Women’s Conference each year. On the 2nd Saturday of each month the Women’s Prayer Meeting & Coffee Fellowship meets in our Fellowship Hall. Our church ladies are a great benefit to PHBC!
Men’s Ministry
The men of PHBC meet the last Saturday of each month for Bible Study, breakfast, prayer & fellowship in the church fellowship hall at 7am. The men are also encouraged to attend the Wildfire Conference each year at Thomas Road’s Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA. The men also attend various conferences throughout the year.
