Responsibilities include planning, organizing and leading musical ministry, coordinating choral activities, supporting church leadership in worship activities. Undergraduate degree and 2 years experience leading a music ministry preferred. Your Help is Needed!!
There are 12 members of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church going to Standing Rock on a Mission Trip this summer. We are having a Yard Sale on May 19th, 2012 at Dr. Vest’s Office starting @ 8am and going until 2:30PM. All proceeds will help pay for travel expenses for the team. Please let Carol or Sam Canode, Dan or Barbara Zicafoose, or Trudy or David Musselwhite know if you have any items that you would like to donate. We will have limited storage available at the Church and will be glad to pick up any items that you would like to donate. Any items donated would be appreciated as will your prayers as we plan this upcoming event and our mission trip.
Remembrance Service
On Sunday, June 3rd at 4pm we will have our 2011-2012 Memorial Service in remembrance of our members and loved ones who passed away during this time. If you have a loved one that you would like to have recognized, who was not a member of PHBC, please contact our church secretary by May 18th to have their name included in the service. There will be a time of gathering of family and friends for light refreshments after the service in the Fellowship Hall. Our church family is encouraged to attend the service and fellowship. Relay for Life
Our church will be making a donation to the American Cancer Society during the annual RELAY FOR LIFE event. This will take place on Friday, May 18th, 2012 at the Buchanan Carnival Grounds,1042 Lowe Street, Buchanan. See Cindy Fitzgerald at the Relay for Life table in the foyer for more information.
